Job Title: UX Researcher (Financial / E-commerce Experience)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher with a background in financial services or e-commerce to join our growing design team. You will play a critical role in shaping our products by providing insights into user behaviors, motivations, and needs. Your work will help ensure that our digital experiences are intuitive, valuable, and delightful for our users.
Key Responsibilities
Research Planning & Execution: Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies).
User Insights & Analysis: Gather and synthesize user insights specifically related to financial services or e-commerce experiences.
Collaborative Strategy: Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to inform product decisions and improve user experience.
Data-Driven Recommendations: Identify actionable insights and recommend product improvements based on research findings.
Market & Trend Analysis: Stay updated on UX trends and best practices within the financial/e-commerce industry.
Presentation of Findings: Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner that drives understanding and action.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in UX research, with at least 1 year focused on financial services or e-commerce products.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Social Sciences, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Research Skills: Proficiency in a range of UX research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative methods.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools like UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, or similar.
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyze and synthesize data, with attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate research findings into actionable recommendations for different audiences.
Team-Oriented: Experience working in cross-functional teams and with various stakeholders, including product managers, designers, engineers, and executives.
Preferred Skills
Financial/E-commerce Experience: In-depth knowledge of regulatory constraints, user concerns, and the competitive landscape within financial services or e-commerce.
UX/UI Knowledge: Understanding of design principles and user experience best practices specific to financial or e-commerce products.
User-Centered Design: Familiarity with the principles of user-centered design and accessibility standards.
