Job Title: Azure Database + MongoDB + .NET + Kafka Developer
Location: Remote
Duration:  Contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Developer with expertise in Azure Databases, MongoDB, .NET technologies, and Kafka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, integrating, and maintaining high-performance backend services and real-time data streaming pipelines. This role involves working on scalable applications and collaborating across DevOps, data, and software teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core/.NET Framework.

• Implement and manage Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and other Azure database services.

• Develop and maintain document-based schemas and queries using MongoDB.

• Create and manage real-time Kafka pipelines for event-driven architectures.

• Integrate and optimize data flow between services and databases.

• Ensure application performance, quality, and scalability.

• Develop APIs and services adhering to industry security standards and protocols.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Data Engineering.

• Participate in code reviews and follow Agile development methodologies.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of development experience with .NET / .NET Core.

• Strong experience with Azure Database services (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB for high-volume data storage and retrieval.

• Proficient in Kafka for real-time data processing and streaming.

• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating backend systems.

• Familiarity with cloud-based CI/CD tools and microservices architecture.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Service Bus.

• Knowledge of containerization using Docker/Kubernetes.

• Exposure to DevOps practices and automation pipelines.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
