Job Description:

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Engineer with strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to design, build, and support scalable, reliable, and secure systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid software development background, strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and observability tools, and a commitment to driving application resiliency and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable software systems using Java, Go, or Python
• Design and implement resilient infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Improve application reliability by implementing monitoring and observability solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog)
• Support CI/CD pipelines, application security, and performance optimization practices
• Drive incident response and contribute to reducing MTTx (MTTR, MTBF) metrics
• Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs; manage APIs via platforms like Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Kong, or Spring Cloud Gateway
• Integrate Identity and Access Management (IAM) services into applications
• Collaborate across teams to promote SRE culture, best practices, and continuous improvement
• Apply networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTPS) and CDN technologies for optimal performance

 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Proficient in Java, Go, or Python
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Solid understanding of agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, and application security
• Familiarity with observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog)
• Experience with site reliability principles and large-scale system operations
• Background in incident management and improving system reliability metrics
• Experience with API development, management, and IAM integration
• Knowledge of networking concepts and CDN technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset
