The Product under test has no internet connectivity so skills with Cybersecurity specific penetration testing does become not applicable. Following is must have skills for an engineer,

QNX AND DDS AND Wireshark AND Penetration Testing

 

1. Must have good familiarity with Security/Pen testing 

1. OS: Windows
2. Protocols: DDS, UDP, EtherCAT (Ethernet Field bus)
3. Must have good understanding of Embedded Device Networking
4. Hardware

1. OS: QNX
2. Processor: X86, Xilinix (security)
3. Secure Boot

3. There are no Security specifications documented so the individual has to come up with test scenarios as confidence building exercise, inputs available for him are,

1. Design Document
2. Threat Modelling and assessment documents
