Role: Principal DevOps Engineer
Location: Chevy chase ,MD ::remote
Duration: 3 months contract to hire
What will you be doing
- Create, optimize, build, and manage robust cloud infrastructure
- Contribute to CICD pipelines.
- Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
- Ensure the performance and security of application/systems.
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
- Drive continual improvements for availability, performance, quality and cost-efficiency of big data pipelines.
- Design and development of databases for real time, high availability, secure financial data.
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
- Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working as a DevOps engineer.
- Strong in managing Azure infrastructure.
- Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
- Strong experience in Scripting (Python, Bash)
- 5+ years of experience in developing CI/CD processes and DevOps contribution in a live-site production environment with a real passion for automation
- Experience with designing infra using IaaC (Infrastructure as a code) tools like Terraform, Cloudformation.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with CI/CD tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory.
- Expertise in networking & compute infrastructure.
