Seeking a senior QA automation engineer to design, implement, and scale API automation frameworks using Karate or Rest Assured. The role involves validating complex REST APIs, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring test coverage across microservices-based architecture.

🔧 Responsibilities

• Develop reusable and scalable API automation frameworks
• Implement BDD test suites with Karate or Java-based frameworks with Rest Assured
• Integrate with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
• Write assertions for response codes, schema validations, and business logic
• Perform regression, smoke, and integration testing for APIs
• Collaborate with DevOps, developers, and business analysts for end-to-end QA strategy

💼 Required Skills

• 5+ years in QA automation with strong API testing expertise
• Hands-on experience with Karate DSL or Rest Assured + Java/TestNG
• Deep knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON schema validation
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker
• Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools like ELK, Splunk, or Postman monitoring
• Experience with parallel test execution and reporting tools (e.g., Allure, ExtentReports)
• Good understanding of microservices and service orchestration
