Job Title:  SAP MFG/Logistics Solution Architect

Location: Remote (Occasional travel to NJ – East Coast Preferred)

Duration: 6+ months Contract

Responsibilities:

·         Configure and customize SAP MES and PP modules and/or other MES applications to meet business needs, including MFG, Production Planning, Logistics, Quality Management, Shop Floor Control, Plant Maintenance and Performance Analysis.

·         Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP MES solutions.

·         Work in conjunction with external systems integrators and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of quality solutions.

·         Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, test plans and user manuals.

·         Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption of MES solutions.

·         Conduct system testing, troubleshooting and performance tuning to optimize system performance and reliability.

·         Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SAP MES technologies and recommend process improvements and enhancements.

Required Skills And Experience

·         12+ years of SAP ECC & S/4 Hana experience with shop floor control, production planning, inventory management and logistics.

·         East coast strong preferred.

·         Life Sciences experience is a MUST

·         Strong knowledge of SAP Best Practice

·         Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production scheduling, quality management and inventory control.

·         Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

·         Good knowledge and hands-on experience in handling PLC, HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).

·         Proven track record of successfully leading MES implementations, including project planning, system configuration, and user training.

·         Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and control IT initiatives within budget and timeline.

·         Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders.

·         Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
