Job Role : SAP S/4 HANA VC (Advanced Variant Configuration)

Location : Mountain View, CA – Onsite

JD:

Performed Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) lead/Architect role.
Support projects from the pre-concept stage to obsolescence.
Design, implement, and enhance product configurator ensuring seamless configuration processes.

Work with the client team to support the varying degrees of customization and production strategies for different types of products.
Assemble-to-stock. Assemble-to-order (ATO),

Support fixed product features that can be pre-planned and ordered at high volumes
Configure-to-order (CTO) builds
Engineering-to-order (ETO)

Involved in multiple design discussions on OTC and PTP processes including
master data setup, Intercompany and Intracompany, variant pricing and CTO/MTO product costing.
Hands-on utilization and AVC product modelling on S/4 HANA
Implemented SAP Activate methodology particularly completing FIT/GAP analysis tasks and activities in the Explore phase.
Defined VC scope baseline of configurable product model
Identified, documented, and prioritized gaps and additional scope items.
Creating bills of materials (BOM) based on input from engineering, manufacturing, and project management.
Provide support to the client team dealing with complex products and a platform, or variant-based
go-to-market strategy on product configuration management that drives better product development alignment, efficiency, and coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and services.
Managing change requests: Initiating and managing ECOs, MCOs, deviations, and stop ships

Staying up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
