🔍 Role Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Developer with deep, hands-on experience in setting up Azure infrastructure from the ground up. This is a highly technical, individual-contributor role for someone who thrives in building scalable, secure, and automated cloud platforms—not someone who merely supports pre-built systems.
This role supports platform enablement for data engineering, DevOps, and application teams, and requires a proactive engineer with excellent communication and a security-first, automation-first mindset.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy Azure infrastructure from scratch—hands-on, end-to-end
- Create secure, scalable, and maintainable environments for internal application/data teams
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform
- Implement automation strategies and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
- Collaborate closely with product, application, and data engineering teams to deliver infrastructure services
- Maintain strong documentation and technical communication throughout project phases
🧰 Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years in Cloud Platform Engineering in enterprise environments
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Azure infrastructure & services (IaaS & PaaS)
- IaC: Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates
- Scripting: Python, PowerShell
- DevOps tools: GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
- SQL, monitoring/logging, security-first design
- 5+ years in DevOps practices within Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong understanding of cloud-native principles, cost optimization, and governance
- Clear experience in building Azure infrastructure independently (must be stated explicitly in the resume)
🎯 Nice to Have:
- Experience leading technical decisions across cross-functional teams
- Exposure to PaaS configurations and integrations (APIM, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, etc.)
- Knowledge of enterprise networking within Azure (VNet, NSG, Private Endpoints)
