Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining network security solutions, with expertise in technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement network security solutions: Design and implement network security solutions to protect against cyber threats, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
Monitor and analyze network traffic: Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security threats, and implement measures to prevent them.
Conduct vulnerability assessments: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses.
Collaborate with teams: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and to ensure that network security solutions meet business needs.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience: 10+ years of experience in network security, with expertise in technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
Network security technologies: Strong knowledge of network security technologies, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, and Check Point.
Security certifications: Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, or CCNP Security.
Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex security issues.
Nice to Have:
Experience with cloud security: Experience with cloud security technologies, such as AWS or Azure security.
Knowledge of DevOps tools: Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements: Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA or PCI-DSS.
