Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Azure Cloud Engineer with over 12 years of experience in IT, including at least 6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, governance, security, and DevOps practices in Azure environments. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
Technical Skills & Qualifications:
· Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
· Strong understanding of Azure networking: VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, NSG, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway.
· Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization (Docker, Helm).
· Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
· Solid experience with Terraform, ARM/Bicep templates, and Azure CLI.
· Hands-on with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and other observability tools.
· Deep understanding of security & compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, CIS, etc.).
· Experience with Windows and Linux systems administration in a cloud context.
· Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and ITIL practices.
