Role: System Analyst

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Duration: Contract

Client – state of Florida

Job Description:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related field, or five (5) years equivalent work experience.

A minimum of two (2) years of programming/systems analysis experience.

Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) with technical and Department staff.

Experience working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand and document business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

Experience aligning these solutions with business and IT strategies and complying with the organization’s architectural standards.

Experience in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.

Experience making recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.

Experience participating in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations.

Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using modern development technologies like .Net, Java, Oracle, and SQL Server.

Experience in data integration and/or interface communication between systems..
