Project Manager

Contract 12 months

Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid work)

Manage MUTBs support team from Fujitsu for Application Maintenance support team.-

• Coordination with third parties/vendors for responsible , following MUTBs Project SDLC Procedure and governance ensuring deliverables in accordance with the relevant specification in a defined timeline.
• Manage stakeholders with fluent communication skills both in Japanese and English.-
• Provide monthly/weekly status reporting.
• Manage project (support) team as a communication tower of Fujitsu team for design, development, and maintain banking vendor applications and inhouse develop applications according to change requirements by following established SDLC procedures and processes.
• Coming to the office in New York at least once a week is preferred.

Skill requirement –

• 10+ years project manager experience in Banking environment- Experience in Banking application Projects especially in payment, risk management, Core banking and regulatory reporting, etc.-
• Communication Proficiency with IT engineers and Project stakeholders-
• Participate in all phases of software engineering life cycle and troubleshoot problems as needed.-
• Experiences in international banking and financial service environment to understand banking businesses
• Banking system experiences and understating of business in payment, risk management, treasury products and accounting processes.
• Project management capabilities facilitating communication among team members, including engineers.
• Fluent in Japanese and English, including proficiency with written/verbal translation and complex technical report writing.
• Good knowledge of Test, debug, and/or oversee the testing and validation of applications to ensure that quality and functionality are in line with the requirements, as well as industry standards and protocols.
• Manage banks development and maintenance projects with appropriate team resource management by communicating with Banks stakeholder and business users by providing guidance and instruction to team members.
• Resolve production defects within defined SLA which teams stakeholder commit within Banks business users.
• Minimum 10 years of experiences in the financial services or banking industry is must.
• Minimum 7-10 years of project management experiences in developing or implementing banking applications.-
• Experience or knowledge in supporting modern web-based applications would be plus.
• Knowledge in SQL database and script (Customer Environment on SQL2012 to 2019) would be plus.
• PMP certified or Agile scrum master would be plus.
