Some experience managing and leading teams is ideal.
String application developer with experience in cloud: AWD, s3 event bridge, step functions, glue, sqs sns.
Developed Java and spring boot applications.
Strong Java development and API. Rest, test cases, test suites.
Work in agile environment.
Build microservices from scratch, understanding of what a micro service is and what it takes to build.
MongoDB is a database that will work.
DynamoDB is their db
NoSQL is a must
Each microservice has own database
50/50 breakup with designing but also hands on coding and development work guiding team.
Java is more important
ECS, kubernetes
Two rounds interview process:
Hybrid in NJ would also consider CT or Minneapolis.
Top 5: AWS design, containers pipelines deployment, GitHub, spring boot Java, test cases automation, ability to convert some design into modules.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring:
• Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields
• Lead and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
• Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• 3-7 years of hands-on knowledge and experience with developing applications in Java, Springboot, Python, node.js, react or angular
• 3-5 years’ experience with leading small to mid-sized teams
• Experience with designing and developing financial services applications
• Experience with developing java or python applications in AWS development stack
• Experience with using ECS, containers, Github, Kong / APIGEE and understanding of authentication and authorization enforcement in java services
• Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
• Strong executive presence with an ability to translate and communicate sophisticated technical solutions in understandable terms to a broad range of audiences
• Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills
