Agile Champion
Phoenix, AZ (On-Site)
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and advocate for Agile values, principles, and best practices throughout the organization.
- Support Agile teams by mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and workshops such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and Agile maturity assessments.
- Partner with leadership to align Agile processes with strategic goals.
- Identify and resolve organizational impediments to agility and continuous delivery.
- Track and communicate Agile metrics (velocity, team performance, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement.
- Champion a culture of collaboration, feedback, and transparency.
- Support change management efforts related to Agile transformation initiatives.
- Foster a learning environment with a focus on Agile mindset and practices.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in Agile environments; 2+ years in a coaching or leadership role.
· Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
· Agile certifications preferred (e.g., Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe Program Consultant, ICAgile Certified Professional).
· Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to Have:
· Experience leading Agile transformation initiatives in a large-scale enterprise.
· Background in software development or project management.
· Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, etc
