Position: UX Designer – Figma Specialist
Location: Bloomington, IL (Preferred) – Remote considered for strong candidates
Contract Duration: 6+ Months (Extension likely)
Rate: $45/hr C2C (Max)
Visa Requirements: U.S. Citizens / Green Card Holders preferred

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled UX Designer with 5+ years of experience in end-to-end workflow design using Figma and FigJam. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing full workflow designs, and prior experience in the financial or insurance sector is preferred. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow a user-centered design process to create wireframes, task flows, and interaction specs
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and test plan creation/execution
- Translate concepts and stakeholder feedback into detailed, functional design deliverables
- Advocate for user needs by leveraging voice of customer, market insights, and design best practices
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and marketing teams to align on design objectives
- Create interactive prototypes for usability testing and stakeholder feedback
- Communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders, backed by data and research
- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure consistency and quality in design execution
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with expertise in Figma and FigJam
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end workflow designs
- Solid experience in conducting user research and usability testing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams including vendors, developers, and business units
- Background in financial services or insurance industry preferred
