WebMethods Administration and App Support
• Good hands-on experience in webMethods Administration and App Support.
• Good hands-on experience on webMethods installation, configuration, environment maintenance, release, patching support etc.
• Good hands-on experience in Unix shell scripting.
• Flexible to work in shifts and weekends if needed.
• Having Good communication skills.
• Deploy Applications
• Implement configuration changes
• Environment Setup
• Performance Tuning (involving configuration changes)
• Middleware Upgrades/Migration
• Fix-Pack/Firmware upgrade
• Application decommissions
• Incident Management
• Identification and implementation of automation opportunities
• Automation of day-to-day admin activities
• Change Management & Change Task Ownership
• Building of Reference Architecture
• Middleware Architecture Planning
• Standing up new instances and install applications
• High Availability Design, Capacity Planning
• Problem Diagnostics & Root Cause Analysis
• Performance Tuning (involving design changes)
• Server Installation and Configuration
• Design and Implement Clusters.
• Restart IS instances
• Restart MWS service when needed
• Restart Universal messaging engine and clear queues as per request
• Enable/disable packages and reload them when required
• Decommission of applications across all environments
• Configure credentials for NHIDs
• Configure / Edit adapter configuration with DB as per request
• Configure / Edit scheduler as per request
• Add/Delete users, groups and ACLs for applications
• Recompile Java in webMethods designer tool and edit application components on the same.
• Configure / Edit SFTP and SFTP alias for applications
• Clear cache, drop memory keys, add property files as requested by application teams
• Open network firewall ports as requested by the app teams.
• Work on application migration as requested
• Analyse application performance and service usage kill threads
• Work with multiple teams on triage calls
