WORKDAY PROJECT MANAGER NEEDED – MUSFT HAVE WORKDAY IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCE AS A PM AND SMARTSHEETS
100% REMOTE
CONTRACT UNTIL APRIL 2025 AND POSSIBLE EXTENSION.
What are the Day to Day Responsibilities?
- Project management responsibilities to support the workday implementation
- Managing deadlines for implementation
- Interacting with multiple teams involved – the vendor, the client team, the implementation team, employees at VP/SVP levels
How will this resource be measured?
- Expecting someone who can come in and hit the ground running – no training needed

3-5 Must Haves Skills & Technologies (Break down each skill or tech stack/ flexibility levels):
- Min 5 years of project management experience on workday implementation projects
- Be very familiar with the complexities around time to pay integration, multiple jobs / unions / shared labor, retroactive pay – doesn’t have to be versed in workday payroll, just versed in project management for workday projects
- Know how to use Smartsheets
- Strong documentation skills
- Excellent Communication Skills (see soft skills)
How are they using these soft skills on day to day?
- Need a driver personality who can professionally push people to get things done
What teams / individuals are they interacting with daily?
- Interacting with multiple teams involved – the vendor, the client team, the implementation team, employees at VP/SVP levels, working across HR / Finance orgs

What else would make this candidate stand out?
- Being a consultant at workday
- ADP Experience
- PMP Certification
- DevOps knowledge or exposure

Need someone who has experience with workday projects, implementations and work with the implementation partner

Coordinate meetings.

Maintain timelines on the client side.

Client team to the integration team- the PM would be working with.

Generic workday project management – working with vendors.

They will understanding high level nature of what the various phases and discussions are going on, what needs to be escalated, involving the players.

Multiple unions, shared labor are involved, all over the map and retroactive pay. They need someone versed in Project Management for workday.

Need a strong personality, driver. One of the vendors is difficult, vendor speaks in circles, so they need someone to navigate through those types of folks. Keeping folks on track.

A few other PMS on the team they will be working with on the vendor side or third-party. This PM will not have
