Mandatory Skills:
- Media domain expertise
- Proficient OS and programming skills
- Strong build, debug, analysis, and testing capabilities
Role Description & Required Skills:
- Adaptive media streaming (client-side integration)
- Media playback & multimedia frameworks (GStreamer, FFmpeg)
- Wayland/DirectFB, Apple AirPlay media content delivery
- Experience with PlayReady DRM 4.x and basic cryptography
- Network fundamentals: TCP/UDP packet filtering & analysis
- Boost ASIO, socket programming, Linux boot-up & services
- Linux IPC, shared libraries, journald log analysis, core dump debugging
- C++ 14 & 17 features (std::optional, std::async etc.)
- Expertise in C, C++, multithreading, OOAD
- Build systems: CMake, Make, Meson; cross-compilation skills
- Familiarity with SnapCraft, Docker, Conan, GitHub Actions
- WebSockets, REST APIs
- Unit testing: Catch2, GoogleTest, BDD frameworks
- Scripting: Shell, Python; Tools: Jira
- Understand and maintain complex C++ codebases
- Proactive in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Able to mentor junior engineers and prioritize/deliver on time
