Job Description:

Who are we looking for?

Functional Test Lead for an Insurance client based out of USA with Data Applications Testing & Life & Annuities domain experience. (L&A QA Lead (with Market Intellingence, Product Data Experience). The Individual should be passionate about technology, automations, experienced in testing cutting edge technology applications.

Data Application Testing (API Testing, Web Services & ETL) & with 3+ years of experience in Life Insurance IT Projects

Technical Skills:

· Have good amount of experience in Functional, ETL Testing with Web Services knowledge

· Have good knowledge in ETL Informatica workflows, SSIS package, SSRS Reports, any BI Report testing experience

· Have hands-on experience in Web Services and API testing.

· Have exposure to SOAP UI, Postman and RESTful services

· Expertise with ETL, Functional, Regression, End to End testing

· Experience in SQL server. Ability to construct SQL queries for data testing and analyse test data.

· Knowledge in JIRA and ALM

· Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools & processes.

· Design execute and report software tests.

· Review business / software requirements and provide inputs.

· Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.

· Execute tests (manual / automated).

· Report defects and assist in their understanding.

· Analyse test results and track software testing metrics.

· Prepare and present test reports.

· Life Insurance PAS testing exposure.

· Conduct RCA and advanced performance tuning of complex business processes and functionality.

· Good to have – Experience in Selenium, UFT automation tools and ALM, JIRA etc.

Process Skills:

· Have proficient knowledge in Web Services, API testing, ETL & Testing process and all testing phases, with exposure to SOAP UI, Postman and RESTful services

· Ability to execute test plans, create test cases, test data and contribute to the success of project.

· Proficient communication skills.

· Excellent analytic approach and problem-solving technique.

· Flexible & adjustable attitude.

· Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity
