Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced E911 and Public Safety Network Expert with over 10 years of hands-on experience in wireless communications, particularly in 4G/5G core network infrastructure and safety-critical telecommunications systems.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in wireless communications, with a focus on 4G LTE and 5G Core technologies.
- In-depth expertise in E911 systems including:
- Call flow
- Location accuracy requirements
- PSAP interoperability
- Hands-on experience with core network components:
- MME, SGW, PGW, AMF, SMF, UPF
- IMS Core: CSCF, BGCF, MGCF
- Strong knowledge of NG911 architecture:
- ESInet, ECRF, LVF, LIS, BCF
- LoST protocol
- Proficient in SIP and RTP protocols, especially in:
- Emergency call handling
- Geolocation delivery (PIDF-LO)
- Familiar with ALI, MSAG, and GIS systems for:
- Location validation
- Call routing
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as:
- Wireshark, NetScout, Tektronix
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements:
- FCC, NENA, and state 911 boards
