Role: GCP VMware Engine (GCVE)
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and implement Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) environments for enterprise workloads.
· Develop and maintain Terraform modules to automate GCVE provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
· Collaborate with architects and project managers to define infrastructure requirements and translate them into Terraform code.
· Ensure compliance with security and governance policies in cloud deployments. · Monitor and optimize GCVE performance, cost, and scalability. · Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GCVE and Terraform deployments. · Document infrastructure designs, processes, and best practices. · Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
· 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 2 years in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
· Hands-on experience with Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE).
· Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
· Strong understanding of VMware vSphere, NSX-T, and HCX.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
· Familiarity with GCP services such as VPC, IAM, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
· Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
· Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). · Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
