JOB DESCRIPTION
“o Provide leadership and guidance for on-premises and cloud-based customer implementations
o Design, develop, and deploy Apigee solutions that meet the customer’s business and technical requirements
o Work with the customer’s operations team to implement the infrastructure components of the Apigee platform
o Build and execute API functional and performance test plans
o Define, architect, and implement a target-state API toolset that will enhance developer experience across the API lifecycle

o Manage administration, support, and development audit of existing environments
o Assess and optimize the performance and security of the API platform
A list of the minimum qualifications and skills that the Apigee architect needs to have, such as:

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field o 4+ years of experience in Apigee platform installation, configuration, and development

o 4+ years of experience in API management, API strategy, and API modernization

o Experience with containers and container management, such as Kubernetes

o Experience with Drupal o Experience with DevOps/CI/CD tools and processes, such as Jenkins, Terraform, etc.

o Experience with Enterprise Integration/Middleware solutions, such as MuleSoft, IBM, Oracle, etc.

o Knowledge of web services, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, etc. o Knowledge of security standards and protocols, such as OAuth, SAML, JWT, etc.

o Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills”
