Position: AWS DevOps Engineer

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only)

Contract

Skills – AWS + DevOps + Bigpanda

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and architecture teams to optimize deployment and release strategies.
• Integrate and operationalize BigPanda for event correlation, incident management, and observability.
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance with a DevOps-first mindset.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC frameworks.
• Ensure security, compliance, and cost-efficiency across AWS environments.

Required Skills:

• 3–6 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role with a strong AWS focus.
• Hands-on experience with BigPanda – implementation, integration, and operations.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS) and orchestration.
• Strong scripting skills – Python, Bash, or similar.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab, CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.
