- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security or in a security related field or equivalent experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skill and abilities.
- 5+ years of experience working in a complex network environment.
- 3+years experience in the operational cybersecurity environment.
- Proficiency with extracting and manipulating data, using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, SPL or others.
- Experience analyzing data with technologies like Splunk, ELK, SQL, Jupyter notebooks, or Python.
- Technical experience in some of the following areas: Azure, AWS, SaaS, CAASM, SASE, SSE, IAM, EDR, authentication anomalies, Suricata, Zeek, Full Packet capture technologies, Proxy, and Sandbox technologies.
- Understanding of cloud-based threats, cloud IAM exploits, cloud-based privilege escalation, and cloud-based lateral movement.
- Understanding of operating systems normal activities and OS internals, MITRE ATT&CK techniques, and identifying anomalous behaviors.
- Experience with Assume Breach methodologies and proficient understanding of advanced attack methodologies of Nation State adversaries, including living off the land techniques and TTPs outlined in MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Demonstrate ambition to further current knowledge and understanding by exploring new concepts and applying to cyber security.
