Job Description:

Evaluating data sensitivity and selecting appropriate encryption algorithms and key management strategies based on business needs and regulatory requirements.
Designing encryption solutions for various database platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL) including key rotation and lifecycle management.
Implementing encryption techniques within databases, including field-level encryption, transparent data encryption (TDE), and application-level encryption.
Integrating encryption with existing data pipelines and applications to ensure seamless data flow while maintaining security.
Managing encryption keys securely using dedicated key management systems (KMS).
Implementing key access controls and audit trails to monitor key usage and prevent unauthorized access.
Actively monitoring encryption systems for potential vulnerabilities and anomalies.
Performing regular security audits to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Working closely with database administrators, application developers, and security teams to integrate encryption seamlessly into new and existing systems.
Providing technical guidance on data encryption best practices and troubleshooting issues related to encryption implementation.
