Title: Power BI Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6 Months+

Description:

1. Strong proficiency in data modeling, report building, and data visualization and reporting
2. Ability to organize and structure data to be easier to work with and understand; design interactive Power BI dashboards; and ability to transform numbers and metrics into actionable insights
3. Expertise in DAX functions including complex formulas
4. Training and Support: Ability to guide and teach others on how to use Power BI effectively, specifically on the above, ensuring long term stability
5. Working knowledge of data warehouse role around integrations with Power BI
6. Ability to think strategically about long term sustainability for the model and reporting requirements

Expectations:
1. Eliminate the download and manipulation of data results in Excel templates and workbooks.
2. Enable finance to re-focus resource time on more value-add initiatives that align with strategic objectives
3. Increase knowledge and skill set of internal teams to support the organization with future PBi requirements including best practices around data modeling, report building and data visualization to enhance skillsets.

Deliverables:
1. Fully automated and sustainable Power Bi solution that provides comprehensive financial reporting to the entire organization
2. Power Bi dashboards designed for self service access by finance and leadership
3. Standard Operating Procedures and internal expertise to continue development of staff expertise.
4. Training sessions and documentation for the internal team.
5. A seamless handover process, ensuring the team is confident in managing and updating the PowerBI solution.
