Client: Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) – Global Investment Firm

Position: QA Lead

Location: NYC – Onsite

Duration: 6-12 Months

MANDATORY SKILL:

• PROVAR (test automation tool specifically designed for testing Salesforce applications)
• Experience in Salesforce Sales, Service cloud
• Lead team of at least 6 members
• SOQL, Web, API, Postman, JIRA
• Hands-on Automation experience is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own end-to-end QA delivery for customer and advisor-facing platforms, back-office systems, and integration with third-party financial tools.
• Define test strategies and plans across projects—covering functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Lead and mentor a team of onshore and offshore QA analysts and automation engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand insurance and annuity workflows, regulatory requirements, and business priorities.
• Implement and enforce QA best practices (test automation, shift-left testing, traceability).
• Drive test automation coverage using tools such as Selenium, Postman, TestNG, or Playwright for UI and API layers.
• Partner with DevOps and Release Engineering to embed testing in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Monitor production releases for post-deployment validation and defect triage.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness for testing processes, especially where financial/insurance regulations apply (e.g., NAIC, SOX).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree of Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8–10 years of QA experience with at least 3+ years leading QA teams.
• Prior experience in life insurance, annuities, or retirement products highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of policy administration systems, customer portals, and advisor tools.
• Proficient in QA tools: JIRA, TestRail/QTest, Selenium, Postman, SQL.
• Familiarity with data validation and batch jobs (ETL testing) in financial systems.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and leading QA process end to end
• Strong hold on test reporting and key metrics development
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Understanding of insurance illustrations, actuarial values, or policy riders.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure).
• Experience with API testing, including REST and SOAP.
• Working knowledge of regulatory compliance testing in financial services.
