Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Gather and understand business requirements from stakeholders.
- Develop and document business models based on organizational processes.
- Provide expertise on data usage, metadata, and standards.
- Mentor and provide leadership to junior associates.
- Analyze data to validate business requirements and ensure data quality.
- Collaborate with governance council to establish data governance standards.
- Partner with management to identify opportunities for utilizing data to drive business objectives.
- Define testing strategies and ensure data quality with Quality Assurance teams.
- Provide support for day-to-day data-related issues and incidents.
- Assist with various project-related activities, including data assessments and dashboard development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field preferred.
- 7+ years of US Experience as a Data Analyst in a centralized data warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in SQL and BI tools such as Power BI and Cognos.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics.
- Familiarity with data modelling concepts and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and autonomously when necessary.
- Customer service orientation and willingness to learn and adapt.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities, with a focus on driving performance improvement.
