Job Title: Data Modeler
Job Location: Sacramento, CA – Local Only
Contract: 12+ Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience designing and implementing data modeling solutions.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the evaluation of existing data systems.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in creating a golden record model.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with a project delivery team to define risks and tradeoffs related to different data modeling design choices and to help the organization make informed decisions.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in database modeling design.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience working on a largescale modernization project involving data conversion and data migration projects over $50 million in budget.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience to assess business requirements and transform them into data models.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience working in cross functional teams, collaborating with business analysts, software developers, and data engineers to deliver comprehensive data solutions.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in writing complex queries and scripts, and experience with querying relational databases to extract, manipulate, and analyze data in Snowflake.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in database design. proficient in principles, including normalization, denormalization, and the creation of entity relationship (ER) diagrams using tools like Erwin data modeler.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, math or a technology related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Desired (HIGHLY Desired)
- Five (5) or more years of experience in designing and implementing data modeling solutions
- Five (5) or more years of experience in the evaluation of existing data systems.
