Job Title: Mainframe Assembler
Location: Omaha, NE / Alpharetta, GA (100% Onsite)
Type: : Long Term Contract
All Must: Mainframe, Assembly Language, CICS, Java
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Senior mainframe Assembler with good hands-on project development using main frame technologies: Assembler , Cobol, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and Java.
- Assembler and CICS knowledge are mandatory.
- Well versed with ISPF command utilities, IOF, CA7, Endevor, File-Aid/File-master, SPUFI, REXX.
- Exposure to incident/change management request tools.
- Exposure any of the debugging tools for both batch and online environment (e.g., Xpeditor, abend aid).
- Working on scrum model/Jira handling.
- Experience in doing impact analysis, Design document creation, change release, deployment, monitoring and estimation.
- Complete understanding of SDLC understanding
- Willing to get involved in peak season monitoring, weekend support, release monitoring and Production support.
- Strong knowledge in developing and implementing Online issuer Authorization applications, payment processing.
- Lead developer in associates and Issuer mandates and enhancements.
- Should involve in code reviews, testing and implementing the projects and perform post implementation validation.
