Job Title: .NET Developer with SecDevOps
Location: NYC. NY (Hybrid )
Duration: 12+ Months
Note : Local to NY Only
Experience : 14+years
Must Have skills:
– Strong understanding of SecDevOps principles and methodologies.
– Proven experience in cybersecurity and vulnerability prevention techniques.
– Familiarity with security frameworks (OWASP, NIST).
– Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and their security features.
Certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, CEH, Security+, OSCP) are a plus
Job Description
Skilled .NET Developer with a strong background in SecDevOps, cybersecurity, and vulnerability prevention. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and securing applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
– Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
– Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security tools and processes into CI/CD pipelines.
– Conduct security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
– Work with stakeholders to define security requirements and integrate them into application design and architecture.
– Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, applying knowledge to improve application security.
– Provide technical guidance and support to new members of the team on secure coding practices.
– Document security-related processes, tools, and configurations.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– 3+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API).
– Strong understanding of SecDevOps principles and methodologies.
– Proven experience in cybersecurity and vulnerability prevention techniques.
– Familiarity with security frameworks (OWASP, NIST).
– Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and their security features.
– Proficiency in database technologies (Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, Entity Framework).
– Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps).
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
– Certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, CEH, Security+, OSCP) are a plus.
– Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
– Familiarity with scripting languages (Python).
– Experience with DAST/SAST solutions (Veracode)
-Experience with automation tools (Terraform, AWS cloud formation)
