We are actively recruiting for an IT Project Manager with deep experience in the evaluation, selection and implementation of Supply/Demand systems and POS systems. This is a contract expected to last 18 months. The successful candidate will have demonstrated and documented experience in a large enterprise environment evaluating, selecting, and implementing both Supply/Demand and POS systems. There will be vendors selected to facilitate the bulk of the implementations, but our client will need a Project Manager to coordinate internally and represent their best interests during the implementation of these systems. There will be limited travel in support of the POS work stream.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, or supply chain industries.
• Proven track record in planning system implementation and POS system replacement.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
• Experience managing IT system integrations, data migration, and business process improvements.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, SmartSheets, or Microsoft Project.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud-based POS systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise supply/demand planning, retail business processes, inventory management, and customer transactions
