Job Summary

The Senior Salesforce Developer will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level solutions. You will be responsible for the full development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirement gathering and architectural design to advanced coding (LWC/Apex) and CI/CD deployment. You are expected to mentor junior developers and ensure the “health” of the Salesforce Org through scalable, secure, and high-performance engineering.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Solution Design: Architect end-to-end solutions that balance “clicks vs. code,” prioritizing Salesforce Flows for automation and using Apex only for complex logic.
• Scalability: Design data models and code structures that respect Governor Limits and support high-volume data processing.
• Security: Implement robust security models using Permission Set Groups, Restriction Rules, and OAuth-based integrations.

 

2. Advanced Development

• Frontend: Build responsive, high-performance UI using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Backend: Develop complex asynchronous logic using Batch Apex, Schedulable Apex, and Queueables.
• AI & Automation: Integrate Einstein GPT or Agentforce to build “agentic” workflows and AI-driven customer experiences.

 

3. Integration & Data Management

• API Development: Build and maintain custom REST/SOAP APIs and handle external integrations via MuleSoft or middleware.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Implement Platform Events and Change Data Capture (CDC) for real-time system synchronization.
• Data Cloud: Orchestrate data ingestion and unified profile mapping within Salesforce Data Cloud.

 

4. DevOps & Governance

• CI/CD: Manage deployment pipelines using tools like Salesforce DX (SFDX), GitHub Actions, Copado, or Flosum.
• Code Quality: Conduct rigorous code reviews and ensure 85%+ unit test coverage with meaningful assertions.
• Mentorship: Guide junior/mid-level developers on best practices and design patterns (e.g., Trigger Frameworks, Selector Layers).

 

Technical Skills Toolkit:

• Core Languages: Apex, JavaScript (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, HTML5, CSS3
• Automation: Advanced Flow Builder, Orchestrator, Apex Triggers
• Tools/DevOps: VS Code, Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket
• Integrations: REST/SOAP, JSON, JWT, MuleSoft, Named Credentials

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 6 years dedicated to the Salesforce platform.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
