JOB Description:
As an SAP BTP Integration Suite Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing SAP integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite(BTP-CPI). You will be part of a global SAP team which will ensure that all mission critical SAP systems will be in best possible shape, running with best performance & highest availability, and are in full compliance with Quality and Information Security regulations.
With detailed in-depth knowledge of SAP BTP-Integration Suite you will be the technical subject matter expert, supporting, consulting and guiding team members, project teams and suppliers with respect to technical topics.
Tasks and Responsibilities
· Architecture, and Solution design:
o Analysis of Integration requirements of our IT solutions together with internal customers and IT colleagues
o Support & influence SAP integration, API and data flow architectures , considering API first approach .
o Identify processing & performance optimization opportunities.
o Proactive evaluation of new SAP features in Integration Suite, e.g., Integration advisor , Trading Partner management .
o Understanding of SAP functional areas and overall SAP architecture .
· Subject matter expertise in SAP integration
o Strong expertise in designing and implementing complex integration scenarios, including experience with various integration patterns and protocols using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
o Deep understanding of pre-packaged integration content and effective use of the same .
o Proven expertise in developing Enterprise-Grade , robust Iflows for SAP , non-SAP systems in A2A and B2B for both asynchronous and synchronous communication.
o Proficiency in implementing Integration patterns like Content based routing , Scatter-Gather , Splitter .
o Expertise in Integration scenarios using different adapters such as HTTP, IDOC, JDBC, File, SOAP, Rest, Odata , Graph, etc.
o Expertise in using various kinds of mapping such as message mapping , XLST mapping and mapping using groovy scripts .
o Expertise in exception handling mechanisms for Integration flows .
o Deep understanding of Quality of service concepts such as Guaranteed Delivery , retry mechanism , Idempotent Receiver .. and so on .
o Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring the stability and performance of integration solutions.
o Proficiency in integration message monitoring and logging .
o Good understanding of Adapter inbound and outbound security configurations .
o Usage of Transport management system in Integration Suite .
o Expertise in Groovy scripts .
o Experience with IS-API management including topics like creating API providers , API’s , policies, and API Products .
o Have in-depth understanding of API Authorization and Authentication , access control , and other policies.
o Experience with implementing event driven integrations using event Mesh technology .
o Knowledge on Integration Advisor , Integration Advisory methodology , trading partner management .
Experience:
· At least 8-10 years of experience in SAP middleware integration area including 3-4 years in SAP Integration Suite .
· Experience in at least 8 to 10 Integration Implementation projects using SAP Integration Suite .
· Experience in leading upgrade and migration projects with a focus on SAP Cloud Integration .
· Comfortable in creating an integration design blueprint for complex projects.
· SAP Certification is a plus.
· Experience with SAP S/4HANA on Cloud deployments or migrations.
· Experience with leading teams is a plus.
Non-Technical Skills:
· Excellent communication skills / experience with customer facing position roles.
· Must possess the ability to collaborate remotely with the functional teams in various tech centres .
· Must be a self-starter, capable of working with very little supervision.
· Must be capable of taking initiative and be proactive, with a firm understanding of the final goal to be achieved.
· Must not only be an excellent team player, but also show willingness to take over the lead.
· Experience with Service Management, especially dealing with external service providers is a plus.
