Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mobile QA Automation Engineer to join our team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing robust mobile test automation frameworks for both Android and iOS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement mobile test automation frameworks: Using Appium/WebdriverIO, design, develop, and implement robust mobile test automation frameworks for both Android and iOS platforms.
Create and maintain test documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Lead and drive QA processes: Establish best practices to ensure a high level of app stability and lead the evolution of current test automation frameworks and QA processes.
Collaborate with teams: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure that mobile QA automation solutions meet business needs.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience: 10+ years of experience in mobile test automation, with a strong preference for and working knowledge of Appium/WebdriverIO.
Mobile app development frameworks: Deep understanding of mobile app development frameworks and platforms.
Strong programming skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Nice to Have:
Experience with cloud technologies: Exposure to cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of load testing tools: Experience with load testing tools, such as JMeter.
Experience with agile methodologies: Experience working in agile development environments.
