Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer

Location: Onsite in Philadelphia area 4 days per week. They are downtown at least two days and have the option to work from West Chester or Mount Laural, NJ offices the other two days if they live closer to those locations.

Work Authorization: GC and USC will be preferred

 

Sent this out three weeks ago and had success getting two interviews, unfortunately both candidates were not able to speak to their API development experience within ServiceNow and Comcast has asked for more resumes. Please do not resubmit candidates from before.

This is a ServiceNow developer role working exclusively on third party integration development – no administration expected.

The ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for core system configuration. Gathering and documenting user and process requirements. Developing workflow customizations and supporting the Service Transformation teams. Work will encompass configuration of service portals and configuration and support of GRC and Security Operations-related processes.

 

Common tasks will include:

  • Administer ServiceNow.
  • Configure Application UI.
  • Configure Workflow.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications.
  • Facilitate rollout of new applications and modules.
  • Facilitate onboarding of new clients on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop global solutions.
  • Handle general updates and configuration changes/requests.
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Adhere to ServiceNow development standards.
  • Ensure the latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operations.
  • Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools.
  • Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible.
  • Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, stage, testing and production environments.
  • Participate in ongoing production support and end user support..

 

Selected candidate must understand ServiceNow functionality and how ITIL processes can be implemented in ServiceNow. This includes, but is not limited to, Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB Management, and Problem Management.

Required

  • 3-5 years of ServiceNow Administration and/or Development
  • Expertise in GRC, Vulnerability Remediation, or Configuration Compliance practices.
