Role: Network automation engineer

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)

Type: Contract

Interview Mode : Video Call

Responsibilities:

• Defect Analysis and Testing:
• Collaborate with developers to analyze defects and assist in re-testing as needed.
• Ensure that defects are identified, reported, and resolved efficiently.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Participate in daily standup calls to provide project status updates to various stakeholders.
• Maintain clear and effective communication channels with the team.
• Automation Scripting:
• Develop automation test scripts to validate APIs according to defined requirements.
• Continuously improve and enhance automation testing processes.

Required Skills:

1. Python Scripting:

• Demonstrate a strong ability to script and develop using Python with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

2. Linux Expertise:

• Proven experience in creating test plans and test procedures Network automation engineer for applications running on Linux OS, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability in automating test procedures with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

3. Networking Protocols:

• Proven ability in testing, integrating, or developing with networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, IP, SNMP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
• Extensive experience in testing, integrating, or developing using Network automation engineer advanced Wireless LAN protocols, including 802.11ac and 802.11ax.

4. Database and SQL:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with databases and SQL language.

5. API Automation Testing:

• Solid understanding of API automation testing and behavior-driven development.
